Method Engineer - Batam
Responsibilities :
- Design and implement reliable, flexible and balanced manufacturing processes while taking into account the safety requirements, product quality and in accordance with our production system’s principles.
- Monitor productivity of the plant and solve problems when they occur.
- Prepare and present motion-time analysis and productivity reports.
- Identify, analyze and implement improvements to the technical limits and human interfaces of the manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Industrial/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, LADM, MTM, Microsoft Office applications, Gerber software.
- Analytical with a keen eye for detail
- Customer service and quality oriented.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Must be willing to be based in Batam.
Responsibilities :
- Lead VSM and Lean manufacturing projects relating to factory and warehouse layout improvements.
- Apply appropriate problem-solving methodologies to increase the productivity of our manufacturing processes.
- Plan, analyze and design warehouse architecture/ configuration and flow of supplies/ materials that optimize and fulfill production on-time delivery KPIs.
- Implement, maintain and improve Materials Production Handling projects.
- Apply appropriate lean logistic concepts and systems to improve the materials movement and JIT optimization.
- Plan, design and conduct 5S audit programs.
- Prepare and deploy employee suggestion programs.
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experiences in deploying and training Lean/ Logistic tools and programs, preferably in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Certified in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or equivalent knowledge and skills.
- Proven ability to (a) design effective and optimized warehouse materials flow and inventory storage configurations, and/or (b) lead VSM, Lean, and employee suggestion programs.
- Proven experiences to see through 5S audits, action items and closures.
- Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams, follow-up on and close cases.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, passion for people and good team player.
- Proven ability to multi-task and drive outcomes.
- Customer service and quality oriented.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Must be willing to be based in Batam.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure effective manufacturing processes and conformance of finished goods to customers’ specifications by:
- Analyzing quality issues and root causes
- Resolving technical and quality issues with appropriate stakeholders with proper documentation and corrective/ preventive actions
- Training Line Inspectors and Final QC Inspectors about required quality standards
- Performing process and product audits
- Ensuring the quality of parts conform to the customers’ requirements.
- Establishing, updating and reviewing BCI
- Register and closely follow-up on customers’ feedback about quality issues by:
- Identifying the issues, troubleshooting and discussing them with the related stakeholders
- Implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of corrective actions
- Provide a fast, accurate and appropriate response to the customer about solutions and schedules
- Properly closing the issues to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Develop and deploy qualification processes, checklists and timelines that conform to Schneider Electric’s production system and other quality documentation requirements.
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experiences, preferably in an Electrical/ Electronic products’ manufacturing environment
- Candidates with good knowledge of IEC standards, product designing, project management, FMEA, QC improvement tools, 6-sigma, statistical analysis will be prioritized.
- Proven ability to multi-task and drive outcomes.
- Highly focused to meet customer service and quality standards.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Must be willing to be based in Batam.
